オーストラリアの遠距離戦に特化した希少な6輪駆動元軍用車両が、最近113,000ドル（約1,200万円）の価格でオークションにて売却された。

オークションハウスのPicklesとAustralian Frontline Machineryは、軍用車両の最終価格を公表していないが、ドライブの情報によれば、同車両の価格は約113,000ドルで、Picklesの手数料を含めると、幸運な買い手には約115,000ドルの費用がかかったという。
この車両自体はLong Range Patrol Vehicle（LRPV）と呼ばれ、オーストラリアの特殊空軍サービス隊（SASR）が2001年から2013年にかけてアフガニスタンやイラクで使用していた。
